We are hiring passionate educators in Charlotte (Myers Park), Tega Cay, and Fort Mill.
Lazar was founded by an educator with a simple belief: every student can succeed when instruction is personalized to the way they learn. That’s why we’ve created a culture built on collaboration, high standards, and meaningful support, giving educators the freedom to focus on what matters most: helping students grow.
We are open Monday through Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., with optional Saturday hours from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We’re looking for educators who can commit to a consistent schedule so students benefit from working with the same tutor every session.
Our 2:1 student-to-tutor ratio works better for students and teachers. You will have the time to ask questions, adjust your instruction, celebrate breakthroughs, and help students master concepts instead of simply moving on. It’s teaching the way most educators wish they could teach every day.
At Lazar, you will work alongside experienced directors and fellow educators who collaborate, share ideas, and support one another every step of the way. We provide the curriculum and coaching while managing scheduling, billing, and family communication so that you can focus on what matters most: inspiring students and changing lives.

Teachers, tutors, and passionate educators who believe every student deserves personalized instruction. Our Operations & Administrative team keeps every Lazar center running smoothly. These team members create an exceptional experience for families, coordinate schedules, and support our educators so they can focus on changing students’ lives. While these positions are less common, we’re always excited to connect with outstanding candidates.
